Herzmond was born in 2004 and was the first foal for Hennie *M* and us here at Twin Gates. He had a striking appearance from day one and is just a truly wonderful young riding horse today. He is the full brother to Harry Houdini.

As a barely 3yr old, he was broken and behaved himself beautifully. With approximately 10 weeks of under saddle training, he went to his first show, pülacing at First Level right away. We couldn't have asked for a more focused, rideable horse and are thrilled to see that he also has a great attitude and form over jumps.

Herzmond moved in with **** event rider Sara Mittleider in February 2009 and competed successfully at Novice and Training level eventing. However, his true calling seems to be as a show jumper, and whiloe Sara took over the reins of Herzmond's full brother Harry in 2010, Herzmond moved to Hemlut Schrant for a jumper career.

Within a few months, he won shows at Lamplight at 1.10m and 1.20m. Later in the fall of 2010, the Texan Junoir rider Carson Ray leased Manny and had an outstanding late season with him, winning a regional championship at the end.
